We are looking for a Temporary Tax Director to join an asset manager in NYC. This role requires a strong background in corporate taxation and asset management tax services.

Description
- Provide expert tax services in the asset management industry with a focus on partnership taxation.
- Manage and oversee complex tax allocations and maintain capital accounts.
- Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of K-1 reporting.
- Advise clients on tax strategies and compliance matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless tax service delivery.
- Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations to provide guidance to clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax codes and industry standards.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their technical skills.

Profile
A successful Temporary Tax Director should have:
- Extensive experience in Big 4 or private accounting, specializing in tax services for the asset management industry.
- Strong expertise in partnership taxation, including complex allocations and managing capital accounts.
- Proficiency in K-1 reporting and related tax documentation.
- Comprehensive understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with clients and internal teams.
