Location

This is a fully remote position, but the ideal candidate must be located in the East Coast/Midwest region of the U.S

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish the Anova Chemicals solution as the leading tank monitoring solution in the marketplace.
  • Grow business in the geographic market through new client acquisition with an expected sales cycle of 6-9 months.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plan and market strategies to maximize sales penetration.
  • Identify and establish long-term partner relationships to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Utilize skilled, strategic and economic sales techniques to maximize market/account penetration and close deals.
  • Ensure that technical and commercial requirements are fully understood, communicated internally, and implemented in the form of profitable new service offerings specific to the chemical distribution market.
  • Create and present innovative business proposals.
  • Support customers during initial deployment process and coordinate training and operational guidance.
  • Prepare and deliver Business Reviews and provide on-going consultation to optimize the clients' experience.
  • Exceed sales targets and maintain and communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain a book of business within the CRM, keeping all sales opportunities accurate and up to date within Salesforce.com.
  • Collaborate for success, engaging and partnering at all levels of the organization and across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Represent Anova at market specific and national associations/events, participating in speaking engagements and increasing market awareness.

What you'll need to succeed:

Minimum Requirements -

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-years' experience in Chemical or Industrial Gases Distributor Sales and/or Operations
  • Enterprise solution sales experience; Experience in the sales of Supply Chain services to operations executives; Experience in 6-9-month sales cycles engagements to contract.
  • Adept in commercial and financial principles, properly controlling the processes of negotiating long-term (3+ years) service contracts
  • Adept at learning new Technology hardware and services. Ideally, experience with cloud-based technologies and telemetry.
  • A self-starter, with effective time and territory management skills and the ability to organize and schedule events, activities, travel, and resources
  • Builds bridges between customers and Anova's technical/sales resources, while balancing the business needs of both
  • Initiates, qualifies, wins, and grows business opportunities, building trust and mutually exploring business problems, enabling decisions that lead to mutually positive outcomes and long-term business relationships
  • An effective team player with a curious nature and hands-on, rollup the sleeves attitude to juggle multiple projects and workstreams
  • Collaborates for success, engaging and partnering at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to persuade and change a client's mindset to move from tradition to data centered decision making

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform typical office tasks, including sitting or standing for extended periods, using a computer, communicating effectively, and occasionally lifting light items
