- * Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective customers within assigned territory
- * Develop and grow territory sales through relationship-building and business development
- * Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions
- * Present products and services to prospective customers
- * Maintain product inventory and customer product needs within assigned accounts
- * Deliver products and samples to customers as needed
- * Report weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance metrics
- * Cross-sell additional company products when appropriate
- * Compare company products against competitors to demonstrate value
- * Collaborate with internal sales teams to improve sales strategy and territory growth
- * Maintain accurate CRM records and customer activity updates
- * Travel throughout the territory and maintain strong customer coverage
- * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required
- * Minimum 2+ years of outside sales, territory sales, or foodservice sales experience preferred
- * Experience or strong background in foodservice distribution, Center of the Plate products, or related food industry sales
- * Strong CRM software experience and customer account management background
- * Proven ability to develop business relationships and achieve sales goals
- * Excellent communication and presentation skills
- * Ability to work independently while managing a sales territory
- * Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record required
- * Ability to travel extensively and drive long distances
- * Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and handle product samples/deliveries
- * Strong organizational and reporting skills
