Job Description
This dynamic sales role involves delivering industrial hardware solutions directly to clients within a specified geographic zone, achieved through proactive outreach and targeted prospecting. The ideal candidate will reside within the designated area.
Responsibilities: - Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities through thorough research, referrals, and engaging with nearby businesses. - Conduct in-person meetings with potential and existing clients to foster relationships and close deals. - Adhere to customer service guidelines as outlined by the organization. - Accurately record daily activities including sales orders and prospective client interactions. - Demonstrate products and services to current and future clients through interactive presentations and the use of a mobile storefront. - Ensure the mobile storefront is well-maintained, operational, and effectively marketed. - Keep client data up-to-date in the company CRM, including notes, contact details, and addresses. - Utilize a personal, insured vehicle equipped with necessary tools (such as tablets and mobile phones) to efficiently manage the territory. - Commit to continuous improvement through professional development. - Perform additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Preferred experience in outside sales, particularly in the industrial or route sales domain. - A track record of achieving sales targets.
Skills: - Strong analytical, reasoning, and organizational abilities. - Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. - Proficient in database management, spreadsheets, email, and business software. - Knowledge of the products offered is advantageous.
Additional Requirements: - Availability of an approved vehicle for the mobile store function. - Residence within the territory. - Interest in mechanics is a plus. - Independent work capability. - Physical capability to kneel and bend regularly. - Impeccable driving record. - Professional demeanor in company representation.
