Job Description
Title: Test & Evaluation Lab Tech 2 Location: Berkeley, MOSalary Range: $30 - $37/hr. (Competetive)
Introduction
We are seeking a skilled professional to support activities related to testing and evaluating electrical and electronic equipment. The role involves planning, conducting, and documenting tests on various products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards
- Minimum of 3 years working in an Engineering Lab Environment or comparable Military experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with Flight Simulation equipment
- Minimum of 3 years experience maintaining computer hardware
- Experience with Mil-Spec connector termination
- Experience with Mil-Spec Fiber Optic termination and splicing
- An Active US Secret Clearance
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Installing and maintaining Flight Simulation equipment consisting of computers, monitors, audio systems, visual systems, crew stations, and rack equipment
- Troubleshooting and resolving electronic hardware issues with minimum downtime
- Planning, conducting, and documenting tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Designing, fabricating, building, and analyzing test systems, materials, components, software, and methodologies
- Coordinating test requirements, determining test methods and capabilities
- Conducting system test preparations by coordinating system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout, and tear-down
- Troubleshooting and resolving laboratory and test-related problems
- Coordinating test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs
- Coaching and training others
