Job Description
Title: Test & Evaluation Lab Tech -Electrical/Electronic Equipment Location: Berkeley, MO Salary Range: $25-30/hr on w2 Contract: 6+ months, possible extension Introduction We are seeking a skilled professional to support the planning, conducting, and documenting of tests on various products, systems, and components. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing systems and methodologies that meet customer requirements and will participate in test design, procurement, fabrication, and assembly of components and test systems. Required Skills & Qualifications Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 Minimum of 3 years of experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an Engineering Lab Environment or comparable Military experience Minimum of 3 years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience working with Flight Simulation equipment Experience maintaining computer hardware Experience with Mil-Spec connector termination Experience with Mil-Spec Fiber Optic termination and splicing An Active US Secret Clearance Day-to-Day Responsibilities Install and maintain Flight Simulation equipment including computers, monitors, audio systems, visual systems, crew stations, and rack equipment Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware issues with minimal downtime Plan, conduct, and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes Design, fabricate, build, and analyze test systems, materials, components, software, and methodologies Coordinate test requirements, determine test methods and capabilities Conduct system test preparations by coordinating system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout, and tear-down Troubleshoot and resolve laboratory and test-related problems Coordinate test laboratory activities, maintenance, and repairs Coach and train others Company Benefits & Culture Inclusive and diverse work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Comprehensive benefits package For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex or send your resume at Shivangi.Shukla@artech.com
