Job Description

JOB TITLE: Test EngineerLOCATION: White Sands Missile Range, NMPAY RATE: $35/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (interim required to start; U.S. Citizenship required)

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

  • Design and implement test methods and equipment

  • Plan and coordinate labor, schedules, and test resources

  • Define test parameters and procedures for standard and specialized testing

  • Execute testing on customer samples and non-standard test cases

  • Compile and analyze test data to identify improvements

  • Recommend changes to test equipment, procedures, and manufacturing processes

  • Support testing in both lab and field environments, including remote locations

  • Operate and maintain test equipment and technical tools

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (interim required to start; U.S. Citizenship required)

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (or equivalent experience)

  • Proficiency with Windows-based applications

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently in dynamic environments

  • Experience using test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)

  • Experience with technical hand tools (wire strippers, connectors, repair tools)

  • Ability to obtain CMV certification and safely operate/tow vehicles and trailers

  • Ability to work in physically demanding and remote environments

  • Understanding of safety, security, and environmental compliance procedures
