Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Test Engineering Manager to lead a testing team supporting electrical and power distribution projects. This role will oversee testing activities, schedules, procedures, documentation, troubleshooting, safety, and quality while ensuring projects meet technical and delivery requirements.Test Engineering Manager Location: Dallas, TX

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage testing activities according to project and production schedules.
Monitor daily testing progress and coordinate with test technicians to resolve issues.
Review project specifications, schematics, test plans, and testing procedures before testing begins.
Review test reports and testing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Maintain testing records, procedures, forms, and equipment documentation.
Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts related to testing and quality issues.
Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and overall quality.
Ensure the team follows electrical safety procedures, testing standards, and work instructions.
Perform and oversee testing of protective relay panels, medium-voltage switchgear, breakers, arc-flash systems, HMI components, and other power distribution equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe testing environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Technical degree in Electrical Engineering or a related electrical field.
8+ years of relevant testing experience.
Hands-on experience with AC/DC functional testing.
Experience testing protection relays, medium-voltage switchgear, MV breakers, and arc-flash systems.
Previous experience leading or managing a team of technicians.
Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures, NEC, and IEEE standards.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualification
NETA Certification is a plus.
