Job Description

About The Ride Platform

The Ride Platform, Inc. is the parent company of Outdoorsy, Ride, Wheelbase, and Roamly. We are named for the single transaction where an operator meets a renter. We build end-to-end for the Operator Economy: the marketplaces to book (Outdoorsy, Ride), the enterprise SaaS to manage (Wheelbase), and the insurtech (Roamly) to protect the assets people turn into businesses. We enable millions of people to explore the world while helping independent operators build generational wealth. Our mission is to build the essential infrastructure for the mobility economy.

About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own the product-related lifecycle programs and campaigns across email, push, and SMS. You'll drive channel strategy and execution while leveraging AI tooling to accelerate experimentation and personalization across guest and operator journeys. This role sits at the intersection of channel expertise and technical skills. You know these channels deeply, and you use modern tooling to get more out of them.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

  • Own strategy and execution across product-related email, push, and SMS including onboarding sequences, booking flows, re-engagement, and key transactional moments.
  • Build and maintain AI-powered workflows that automate lifecycle touchpoints, reduce manual lift, and enable personalization at scale across email, push, and SMS.
  • Liaise with product and engineering on SMS and push data infrastructure: opt-in/opt-out architecture, consent capture, list hygiene, suppression logic, and carrier compliance (TCPA, 10DLC).
  • Partner with Product and Engineering on migration of pre-existing lifecycle touchpoints and creation of new touchpoints, ensuring product events and data pipelines pass to events correctly.
  • Maintain behavioral audience segments using product event data to drive relevance at every stage of the guest and host lifecycle.
  • Design and execute A/B tests on creative, trigger timing, channel sequencing, and copy and systematically apply findings.
  • Maintain high standards for channel hygiene: deliverability, segmentation accuracy, token logic, and QA.
  • Use AI tooling to track engagement & performance across owned programs and make optimizations
  • Partner with data analytics to identify lifecycle gaps and inform future program design.

Who You Are (Candidate Profile)

  • 4–6 years in lifecycle, CRM, or marketing automation with hands-on experience across email, push, and SMS.
  • Prior experience in Iterable, Braze, or comparable ESPs building complex journeys, event triggers, Liquid logic.
  • Has prior experience with SMS data infrastructure: opt-in/opt-out flows, list hygiene, suppression, 10DLC, and TCPA compliance.
  • Comfortable across data sources — product event streams, CRM, behavioral analytics. You connect the dots without waiting on a data team.
  • Uses AI tools (Claude, Gemini, Jasper, workflow builders) to work faster and smarter.
  • Fluent in product event data, event schemas, trigger logic and end-to-end QA processes.
  • Clear communicator across technical and non-technical audiences; strong bias toward building systems over one-off solutions.
  • Interest in mobility, fleet management, autonomous and EV vehicles, insurance and prior experience working in marketplaces a plus.

Benefits

What We Offer

  • Competitive Compensation: Base salary range of $90,000 - $105,000 DOE.
  • Growth Opportunity: Join a company in its early stages and help build its success from the ground up.
  • Equity: Opportunity to earn equity compensation.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: 100% company-paid medical premiums for employees, 401(k) match, and Flexible PTO.
  • Vibrant Culture: Catered lunches, happy hours, and team-building events.
  • Work-Life Balance: We offer marketplace discounts and maintain a culture that values the balance between work and adventure.
