Job Description

Thermoplastics Technician

$18 + $2/hr 2nd Shift Differential

1st Shift – Mon–Thurs 6:00am–4:30pm, Friday 6:00am–12:00pm (OT as needed)2nd Shift – Mon–Thurs 4:00pm–2:30am (OT as needed)

Are you a motivated, detail-oriented manufacturing professional? If so, this could be the opportunity for you! A well-established company in Orange City is seeking Thermoplastics Technicians to join their growing production team. In this role, you'll rotate through a variety of hands-on tasks to help produce high-quality thermoplastic parts while learning and growing in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:• Produce thermoplastic parts by rotating through areas such as material prep, weighing, molding, machining, finishing, painting, and assembly• Assemble, disassemble, and maintain molds and related equipment• Inspect in-process and finished products using hand measurement tools• Perform deflash and assembly of thermoplastic products• Operate computers and basic machinery for job tracking and part processing• Maintain accurate records of inspection results and production data• Maintain a clean and organized work environment• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred• One year of manufacturing experience preferred• Strong attention to detail • Effective verbal and written communication skills• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (team lifting for heavier items)• Physically able to stand/walk throughout the shift and bend, push, or pull as needed• Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
