Overview
Job Description
- Support Product Roadmap: Assist in identifying innovative features that empower personal storytelling and community engagement, contributing to the long-term roadmap for ThingsBook.
- Korean Technical Documentation: Help define and document detailed product requirements (PRDs) in Korean, providing clear and actionable guidance for the Korea-based engineering team.
- Cross-border Collaboration: Facilitate smooth communication between the U.S. and Korea teams via Slack and Zoom, ensuring specifications are clearly understood and project updates are shared.
- User Insight & Data Analysis: Assist in gathering user feedback and analyzing pain points to propose actionable product improvements, focusing on enhancing the user journey from discovery to interaction.
- Operational Execution: Partner with design, marketing, and operations teams to support the delivery of data-driven updates and ensure efficient project milestones.
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program (MBA preferred), or a recent graduate eligible for OPT.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Korean is required, with the ability to translate product concepts into clear Korean technical documentation.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively navigate collaboration across different cultures and time zones.
- Experience: Prior experience or a strong interest in Product Management, social media platforms, or the tech industry is a plus.
- Job type: Full-Time Internship (3 months, with a possible 3-month extension. Full-time employment may be considered based on performance and business needs.)
- Location: California (must be able to work in Los Angeles or SF Bay Area)
- Work arrangement: Hybrid (In-office and remote)
- Pay: $30/hr
- Please note: To be eligible, applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (CPT/OPT required for F-1 students). Sponsorship for employment visa status is unavailable.
