TIG Welder Hastings, NE | $18/hour | Mon Fri, 7 AM 4 PM Are you a skilled TIG Welder looking for steady work in a supportive environment? Join our client's team in Hastings, NE where precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are valued. This temp-to-hire position offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and the chance to grow within the company.What You ll Be Doing:
- TIG weld metal components to fabricate or repair products according to blueprints, welding diagrams, or layouts
- Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure them for final welding
- Perform welds that meet quality and tolerance specifications
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and protractors to ensure precise work
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Must pass a TIG weld test
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
- Strong math skills to handle measurements, fractions, decimals, and tolerances
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand, sit, bend, kneel, or crouch as needed
- Steel-toed boots required
- Consistent daytime schedule, Monday Friday
