The Basics:Job: Tire TechnicianLocation: Roosevelt, UTCompensation: $18 to $20/hourDays/Hours: Thursday to Sunday; 5 pm to 2 am

What You'll Do
Safely inspect, repair, mount, and replace tires in accordance with the Savage Tire ManualPerform tire and maintenance service work in the shop, yard, field, and on roadside callsMonitor tire condition and equipment needs to support preventative maintenance effortsHelp maintain compliance with Savage standards and DOT regulationsAssist with inventory management, maintenance records, asset tracking, and reportingMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentCollaborate professionally with operations and maintenance team membersPerform other duties as assigned by maintenance and operations leadership
Qualifications
Knowledge of tire maintenance practices, DOT requirements, and maintenance recordkeepingAbility to identify equipment service needs and prioritize maintenance activitiesExperience working on equipment in demanding operating environments preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointStrong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentReliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to recognize limitations and seek assistance when neededOne year of tire technician experience preferredAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to lift and handle heavy parts, climb on and off equipment, and perform physically demanding workClass A CDL preferred but not required
Here are some of the physical requirements for this role:
Will be on your feet for an extended period throughout the dayWill regularly lift, walk, stand, climb, crouch, and utilize equipment and tools throughout the shift.Navigating the facility will include, but is not limited to, exposure to harsh weather conditions, uneven ground, ladders, racks, other high places, ground that can be slick, icy, or uneven, and other industrial hazardsThe work site is an industrial setting and will require someone who can work safely in this type of environmentAbility to lift up to 100 pounds
