Job Description
Tire Truck SpecialistLocation: Axtell, NE | Funk, NE | Minden, NEPay: $18 $20/hour (depending on experience)About the RoleWe're hiring Tire Truck Specialists! This position involves traveling to farms, fields and job sites to provide on-site tire services. If you enjoy hands-on work, being out in the field and delivering great customer service, this is a great opportunity.What You ll Do
- Travel to farms, fields and remote locations to perform tire services and roadside assistance
- Install, inspect and repair tires on trucks, agricultural equipment and commercial vehicles
- Conduct tire inspections and recommend solutions for safety and performance
- Maintain a clean, organized and professional service truck
- Complete work orders accurately and on time
- Manage tire inventory, supplies and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on service truck and equipment
- Assist in the tire shop as needed
- Provide excellent customer service including evenings, weekends and on-call support
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory systems)
- Willingness to attend training and grow within the role
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver s License required (CDL is a plus)
- Ability to obtain forklift certification
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel and work in physically demanding conditions
- Ability to work around moving parts, fumes and equipment
- Must be reliable with strong attendance
- Availability for evenings, weekends and on-call work as needed
