Now Hiring: Automotive Title Clerk

Local Auto Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Title Clerk to join our team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience with vehicle title processing and dealership paperwork, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Process vehicle titles and all documentation related to vehicle purchases and sales

  • Complete title transfers accurately and in a timely manner

  • Work directly with county clerk offices to process transfer documents

  • Assist with collecting and paying taxes

  • Issue refund checks when necessary

  • Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with Kentucky and Indiana title regulations

  • Support office operations and assist with additional administrative duties as assigned

  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Previous automotive title experience required

  • Knowledge of Kentucky and Indiana title laws preferred

  • Bookkeeping or accounting background is a plus

  • Strong computer and data entry skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Ability to manage time-sensitive tasks efficiently

  • Must maintain a good driving record
