Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk / Office Administrator to join our dealership team.  This role is essential to ensuring accurate vehicle title processing while supporting key administrative and accounting functions within the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and submit vehicle titles and registration paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
  • Verify legal transfers of documents for state compliance
  • Maintain title and vehicle records in accordance with dealership and state requirements
  • Handle daily bank deposits and maintain deposit records
  • Manage accounts receivable, including posting payments and tracking outstanding balances
  • Communicate with customers, lenders and state agencies regarding title and registration issues
  • Assist with general office duties including answering phones and helping customers

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a title clerk or in an automotive dealership office preferred
  • Knowledge of DMV/title processing procedures is a strong plus
  • Experience with accounts receivable or basic accounting tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with computer systems and dealership management software
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
