The Goddard School, Somersett, is a premier early childhood education center located in Northwest Reno, serving children ages 6 weeks thru second grade. We are accredited through the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and strive to provide a quality place to work by operating to their high standards in all areas.

Our team is comprised of educated teachers who are committed to providing care and academics while creating a fun and nurturing environment for their students. Our management team is committed to creating a great place to work by providing support in our programs, educational opportunities to help our teachers continue to grow as educators and creating an environment where our teachers feel well cared for.We are currently seeking the right individual to partner with our toddler teachers in leading our programming and academics for our students ages 2 to 3 years old.

At The Goddard School, Somersett, you will:

Build an environment that fosters creativity and excitement for students and staff
Create a play-based curriculum that is fun and engaging
Partner with like-minded teachers who are educated in teaching
Uses assessments to celebrate the milestones of children
Partner with parents who have a deep care for the education of children

An applicant who SHINES will have the following:

Experience in teaching in an early childhood environment
Be excited and able to partner with others to create synergy between programs
Have strong communication skills with children and families
Understands the importance of respect when teaching our young students
Flexibility when working with our students throughout the day

Compensation for full time employees includes:

hourly rates starting at $18.00 an hour*
health, vision and dental insurance
paid time off/vacation

We also offered 401K, profit sharing, and more,

*Compensation will be determined by experience and education with a range of $18.00 to $20.00 an hour.
