Job Description
[DIRECT HIRE] TOOL & DIE TECHNICIAN | MANUFACTURING | KCMO |
1st Shift Opportunity where you will repair multi-cavity molds, oversee apprentices and perform other related tasks. Large manufacturer in KCMO.
- $34/hour base (up to $40/hour for top experience), plus shift differential (if applicable)

- 1st Shift | 7:30am-3:30pm | M-F, with overtime
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain multi-cavity injection molds with hot runner systems.
- Analyze mold conditions, fabricate/repair parts using machine tools.
- Fit components to tight tolerances, read blueprints, oversee apprentices.
- Log repairs, ensure safety and environmental compliance.
- Minor welding/fabrication
- Oversee Apprentices
Qualifications:
- High school diploma; 4-year apprenticeship + 4 years experience in tool/mold repair.
- Hot runners; .0005" tolerances; machine tools; 10-15 yrs typical.
- Knowledge of trigonometry, machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders).
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs; mandatory overtime.
