You'll work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure precision and quality that support our manufacturing excellence.What You’ll DoAs a tool & die maker, you will be responsible for:

• • Fabricating, assembling, and modifying stamping dies, jigs, and fixtures to meet part specifications and optimize cost-efficiency.*
• • Performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and repairing dies and tools to minimize downtime and ensure consistent quality.*
• • Setting up and adjusting tools and dies for production runs, ensuring dimensional accuracy and adherence to quality standards.*
• • Conducting detailed inspections of stamped parts and tooling to verify compliance with specifications and customer expectations.*
• • Developing and executing preventive maintenance schedules to identify and address potential issues proactively.*
• • Working closely with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot tooling problems, recommend improvements, and enhance processes.*
• • Maintaining accurate records of die maintenance, repairs, and modifications, supporting continuous improvement efforts.*
• • Following safety protocols diligently, promoting a culture of safety within the plant, and reporting hazards promptly.*
• • Assisting in training and mentoring junior staff or apprentices to build a strong, skilled team.

What You'll BringThe ideal candidate for this role will have:

• • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal apprenticeship or journeyman certification in tool and die making preferred.*
• • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in die fabrication, repair, and metalworking within a manufacturing environment.*
• • Strong knowledge of die types (progressive, transfer, compound), materials, and stamping operations.*
• • Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) and interpretive skills for blueprints and schematics.*
• • Advanced machining skills, including welding, grinding, and operating CNC equipment, lathes, mills, and surface grinders.*
• • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex tooling issues efficiently.*
• • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work comfortably in a noisy, manufacturing environment involving standing, bending, and repetitive movements.
