As a Tool & Die Maker, you’ll craft, repair, and maintain high-quality dies, tools, and fixtures that keep production running smoothly. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to deliver precision and efficiency that support our manufacturing excellence.What You’ll Do:

• Fabricate, assemble, and modify stamping dies, jigs, and fixtures to meet part specifications and optimize cost-efficiency.*
• Perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and repair dies and tools to minimize downtime and ensure consistent quality.*
• Set up and adjust tools and dies for production runs, ensuring dimensional accuracy and adherence to quality standards.*
• Conduct detailed inspections of stamped parts and tooling to verify compliance with specifications and customer expectations.*
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to identify and address potential issues proactively.*
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot tooling problems, recommend improvements, and enhance processes.*
• Maintain accurate records of die maintenance, repairs, and modifications, supporting continuous improvement efforts.*
• Follow safety protocols diligently, promote a culture of safety within the plant, and report hazards promptly.*
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff or apprentices to build a strong, skilled team.

What You’ll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal apprenticeship or journeyman certification in tool and die making preferred.*
• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in die fabrication, repair, and metalworking within a manufacturing environment.*
• Strong knowledge of die types (progressive, transfer, compound), materials, and stamping operations.*
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) and interpretative skills for blueprints and schematics.*
• Advanced machining skills, including welding, grinding, and operating CNC equipment, lathes, mills, and surface grinders.*
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex tooling issues efficiently.*
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work comfortably in a noisy, manufacturing environment involving standing, bending, and repetitive movements.
