Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Tooling Technician, you will be at the heart of our manufacturing operations, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our production processes. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Operating and maintaining a range of CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components.
2. Using precision measurement tools to ensure components meet exact specifications.
3. Troubleshooting issues with tools and machines, identifying problems and implementing effective solutions.
4. Grinding, welding, and carrying out other tooling operations as required.
5. Collaborating with other team members to improve production processes and enhance efficiency.
6. Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety guidelines.
7. Providing training and guidance to less experienced team members.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a specific set of skills and qualifications, including:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tooling Technician in a manufacturing environment.
2. Extensive knowledge of CNC machine operation, with the ability to program, set up, and operate a range of machines.
3. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and interpreting technical drawings.
4. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record in troubleshooting and resolving issues with tools and machines.
5. Experience in grinding and welding operations.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
7. A strong commitment to health and safety, with knowledge of relevant guidelines and procedures.
