Job Description

Trade Show & Events CoordinatorLocation: On-site – San Marcos, CADepartment: MarketingStatus: Temp-to-HirePay Rate: $27.00 per hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PMTravel: Approximately 2–3 times per year (~10%)Position OverviewThe Trade Show & Events Coordinator supports the marketing team in the planning, logistics, and execution of national and regional trade shows, distributor meetings, and industry events. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with prior experience in event coordination who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate logistics for national and regional trade shows, including booth space, electrical needs, shipping, labor forms, and submission deadlines
  • Communicate with show management, vendors, and internal teams to ensure exhibitor requirements are met
  • Manage booth materials such as product displays, demo units, literature, promotional items, and signage
  • Coordinate shipping of booth properties and marketing materials to and from event locations
  • Track event calendars, timelines, and submission deadlines
  • Assist with travel coordination for sales and marketing team members
  • Support on-site setup and teardown activities when required
  • Monitor event budgets and process invoices
  • Collect, organize, and distribute event leads to sales teams for follow-up
  • Assist with post-event reporting and return-on-investment (ROI) analysis
Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or administrative support
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and assist with booth materials
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% (2–3 times per year)
