Trade Finance Consultant
A company operating in the financial services industry is seeking a Trade Finance Consultant to oversee trade finance operations, including letters of credit, guarantees, and collections. The role involves ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and banking policies, coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless trade transactions, analyzing and resolving discrepancies or issues in trade documents, providing expert advice on trade finance products and services, preparing reports and maintaining accurate records of trade finance activities, monitoring and mitigating risks associated with trade finance transactions, and supporting process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in trade finance operations.
The successful applicant should have strong knowledge of trade finance products, including letters of credit and guarantees, experience with international trade regulations and banking policies, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy in handling trade documents, ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, and effective communication skills to provide expert advice and resolve issues.
