Trade Support Analyst – Equity Derivatives
New York, NY | Hybrid Schedule
Join a Dynamic Global Markets Team
We are seeking a Trade Support Analyst to support a high-performing Equity Derivatives trading business. This role sits directly alongside Front Office trading and sales teams and plays a critical role in ensuring trades are accurately booked, processed, and settled throughout the trade lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Equity or Equity Derivatives trading desks, strong knowledge of trade lifecycle processes, and the ability to work effectively with traders, operations, risk, and counterparties in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Book, amend, and maintain trades within Front Office trading systems
- Process trade lifecycle events including expiries, corporate actions, and settlements
- Assist with financing and performance calculations and related trade adjustments
- Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies and operational breaks
- Partner with Market Risk to research and resolve P&L breaks
- Serve as a key liaison between Front Office, Operations, Risk, and other support teams
- Support traders and sales teams with daily operational and trade-related inquiries
- Maintain operational metrics and reporting
- Ensure procedures and controls are followed and continuously improved
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Trade Support, Middle Office, or Operations experience within Capital Markets
- Strong understanding of Equity Derivatives products and trade lifecycle processes
- Experience supporting Front Office trading desks
- Knowledge of settlements, corporate actions, lifecycle events, and trade investigations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Sophis
- Experience with Summit
- SIE and/or Series 99 license
- Experience interacting with Market Risk and Product Control teams
