We are currently looking for Traffic Control Flaggers members in MN!
Q3 Contracting is seeking reliable and safety-focused Traffic Control Flaggers to join our team. Traffic Flaggers play a critical role in maintaining a safe work environment for crews and the traveling public by directing traffic through construction and work zones.Responsibilities:
- Control the flow of vehicular traffic through construction zones using stop/slow paddles and 2-way radios
- Set up and take down traffic control devices (cones, signs, etc.)
- Communicate clearly with crew members and the public
- Remain alert and attentive to changing traffic and work zone conditions
- Follow all company safety policies and state/local traffic control regulations
- Report unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Excellent communication skills
- MnDOT or ATSSA flagger certification preferred (in-house training)
- Previous flagging experience is a plus but not required
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand and remain alert for extended periods
- Work in heat, cold, wind, and rain
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Travel is scheduled based on workload and location.
