Trained Medication Aide TMA On Call

Fargo Elim Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is hiring On-Call Trained Medication Aides to support our nursing staff as needed. This flexible role is ideal for a dependable caregiver who enjoys variety and wants to make a meaningful difference while maintaining schedule flexibility. As an On-Call TMA /CNA at Fargo Elim, you will administer medications and collaborate closely with nurses and caregivers to ensure resident safety and well-being. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and compassionate, with a commitment to providing quality care and supporting older adults with dignity and respect.

Position Type: On-Call

Shifts Available: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Location: 3540 S University Dr, Fargo, ND 58104

TMA/CNA Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer medications.
• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Review and follow a written care plan.
• Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure on new computerized software.
• Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls and helping residents to the bathroom.
• Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as requested.

TMA/CNA Qualifications:

• Current ND Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Must hold current TMA certification in North Dakota.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Must be able to stand for length of 8-hour shift.
• Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.
