Job Description

Position Summary

The Training and Workforce Development Coordinator supports CPM’s agency-wide training, onboarding, and workforce readiness efforts. This role bridges HR processes and training execution, ensuring staff are properly onboarded, trained, tracked, and compliant with all regulatory and organizational requirements.

The position focuses on coordination, documentation, and follow-through. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a regulated nonprofit environment.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Staff Readiness

  • Coordinate new employee onboarding in partnership with HR and Program leadership.
  • Ensure all required onboarding steps are completed, documented, and tracked, including orientation, required trainings, and credential verification as applicable.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination to ensure staff are fully compliant and prepared prior to assignment.

Training Coordination & Tracking

  • Coordinate required trainings, in-services, and refresher courses across all programs.
  • Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation.
  • Track staff training completion and follow up on outstanding requirements.
  • Support scheduling, logistics, and materials for trainings led by internal and external facilitators

Supporting Medication Administration Certifications and Renewals

·   Support medication administration certification and recertification processes for agency staff.

·   Serve as a Medication Administration recertification Exam Proctor, strictly following policies and procedures outlined by the DDS Medication Administration Certification Department.

·   Become familiar with the roles, responsibilities, and expectations of the Medication Administration Certification Coordinator in order to assist with required documentation, certification tracking, and timely communication of certification and renewal requirements to

    staff.

Compliance Support

  • Work closely with the Chief Training Officer and Chief Compliance Officer to ensure training requirements align with DDS and other regulatory standards.
  • Assist with preparation for audits, reviews, and DDS requests related to training and staff credentials.
  • Ensure documentation is current, organized, and audit-ready.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Partner with HR Business Partners to support workforce transitions, role changes, and reassignments.
  • Collaborate with Program leadership to identify training gaps and staff readiness needs.
  • Support agency initiatives related to workforce development, mentorship, and professional growth.

Systems & Process Support

  • Maintain training data within designated systems and tracking tools.
  • Support continuous improvement of onboarding and training workflows.
  • Assist in developing standardized checklists, templates, and tracking tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in HR, training coordination, workforce development, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Comfort working in a regulated, compliance-driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills and professional judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or human services settings.
  • Familiarity with DDS or similar regulatory training requirements.
  • Experience supporting audits or compliance reviews.
