Job Description Summary
We are actively recruiting candidates to participate in our 2026 On-site Summer Internship program. This program is roughly 12 weeks in length and will immerse you into the culture and operations of Lonza Portsmouth. This role operates at the intersection of GMP compliance, regulatory oversight, and training governance. You will assist with managing the site's Learning Management System (LMS) and training curricula, ensuring all training aligns with FDA, EMA, and internal quality requirements. As representatives of the GMP Training function, you will be working in a fast-paced, audit-ready environment, implementing change management, internal audit skills, and continuous improvement across the site.
The internship program begins Tuesday, May 26, 2026 and ends on Friday, August 14, 2026. Potential interns must be able to commit to at least 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the summer internship.
Required Education
Completion of junior year (typically 90 credits) towards a B.S. degree in a related field
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (out of 4) required
Must currently be enrolled in BS or MS Academic Program
Must be available to begin the Internship on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

About Portsmouth
Our Lonza Portsmouth site is a clinical-to-commercial, multi-product manufacturing facility located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, only 56 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts. The site, which employs over 1,700 employees, is a custom manufacturer of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins using mammalian cell culture.
We offer an onsite cafeteria, fitness center and other amenities. The city of Portsmouth is home to many restaurants, breweries, museums, and theaters. The ocean and mountains are nearby and we have major cities close by (Boston, Portland, Manchester).
