Job Title: Transactional Accounting Specialist Location: Grand Rapids, MNCompensation: $24.00–$28.00 per hour – paid weeklySchedule: Day shift | Monday–Friday | Standard business hoursJob Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-timeAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Transactional Accounting Specialist (AP/AR) for a manufacturing company in Grand Rapids, MN. In this role, you’ll manage both AP and AR functions while supporting accurate financial processing and month-end activities. Read below for more information!What You’ll Do as an AP/AR Specialist:

• Process high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
• Code and enter invoices into the accounting system
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
• Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Generate and distribute customer invoices
• Post customer payments (checks, ACH, credit cards)
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve billing issues
• Assist with month-end closing activities and audit support
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation

What You Need to Bring to the AP/AR Role:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
