Job Description

Greenberg Traurig’s Philadelphia office is seeking a mid-level Associate with 3-6 years of law firm experience to join its globally recognized Environmental Practice Group. We offer a competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.

Practice Summary: This position works with the transactions team, which focuses on environmental diligence and the mitigation of environmental risks associated with the acquisition, development, management, leasing, financing, and sale of commercial real estate. The group has a multi-jurisdictional practice and oversees environmental diligence and risk management for many leading national real estate investment funds.  This includes evaluating environmental risk, overseeing related regulatory compliance programs, structuring brownfield redevelopment efforts, and negotiating the environmental aspects of sophisticated deals across multiple jurisdictions.

Job Requirements: Candidates should have a dedicated interest in the environmental aspects of commercial real estate investment and development, be members of the PA Bar in good standing, hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, and have an excellent academic record.  This position requires exceptional written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving skills, and the ability to be highly responsive in a fast paced, high-volume, deal flow environment.

To apply, please submit your resume, cover letter, recent writing sample, and law school transcripts (unofficial transcripts are acceptable).

Submissions from search firms will only be accepted through our web portal; for access, contact Amanda Lonergan.
