Transactional Legal Secretary- Downtown Houston AreaA prestigious international law firm operating in over 20 cities is seeking a Transcational Legal Secretary to add to their team. This person will be working on their captial finance/real estate team. Candidates must have 5+ years of relevant transactional experience within a law firm setting. Preferred experience within real estate and finance practice areas. This position offers benefits and a great work environment as well as paid parking. This position is 100% in the office. Duties include:Provide high-level administrative and legal support to attorneys through the preparation, editing, proofreading, and management of legal correspondence and complex documents. Draft transmittal letters, memoranda, and other standard communications while ensuring all outgoing materials meet firm quality and formatting standards. Partner closely with attorneys to ensure emails, documents, and other client-related materials are appropriately filed in iManage rather than stored in Outlook folders or local drives. Provide proactive support with electronic file organization, inbox management, and document filing to promote efficient workflows and reduce paper usage. HOUGW34
