Job Description

Transactional Paralegal – Commercial Business and Real Estate Law

Location: Tulsa, OklahomaSalary: $60,000–$65,000, based on experienceBenefits: Full benefits, bonus opportunities, and workplace flexibility

A well-established Tulsa law firm is seeking an experienced Transactional Paralegal with at least five years of experience to join its growing legal team. The firm is particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in commercial business law, corporate transactions, and commercial real estate law.

This position is ideal for a corporate or real estate paralegal who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple transactions and deadlines. The selected candidate will work closely with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties throughout every stage of a transaction.

  • Commercial leases and lease administration
  • Real estate purchases, sales, development, and financing
  • Title, survey, zoning, and due-diligence review
  • Loan documents and transaction closings
  • UCC searches, filings, and lien matters
  • Corporate records, resolutions, consents, and annual reports
  • Closing binders and post-closing requirements

Transactional Paralegal Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with commercial business, corporate, and real estate transactions
  • Draft, review, revise, proofread, and organize transactional documents
  • Prepare business formation and corporate governance documents
  • Maintain corporate records, minute books, and entity information
  • Coordinate commercial real estate and business transaction closings
  • Manage closing checklists, signature pages, deadlines, and required documents
  • Conduct corporate, title, UCC, and public-record searches
  • Review title commitments, surveys, leases, and due-diligence materials
  • Prepare and organize closing binders and post-closing documentation
  • Complete UCC filings, entity registrations, annual reports, and other business filings
  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, lenders, title companies, government agencies, and other parties
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical transaction files
  • Manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines with minimal supervision

Qualifications

  • At least five years of transactional paralegal experience
  • Experience in commercial business law, corporate law, or real estate law strongly preferred
  • Previous experience as a corporate paralegal, business law paralegal, or real estate paralegal is highly desirable
  • Strong drafting, proofreading, organizational, and document-management skills
  • Knowledge of business formations, corporate records, commercial contracts, and transaction closings
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative legal team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document-management software
  • Paralegal certificate or related education preferred but not required with substantial relevant experience
