Department: SporTran Marketing and AdvertisingReports To: Director of Communications, Marketing & Advertising Sales
Position Summary: SporTran is seeking a skilled and detailed-oriented Transit Media Production & Installation Specialist to support the expansion of our in-house advertising production. This role is responsible for printing, preparing and professionally installing vinyl graphics across transit assets including buses, bus benches, bus shelters, mobility vans and interior advertising displays.
This position plays a vital role in maintaining the visual integrity, safety, and professional presentation of SporTran’s advertising platforms across Shreveport–Bossier.
 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production & Printing
  • Operate large-format printers for vinyl wraps, decals, and advertising graphics
  • Prepare print files for production (scaling, layout, color accuracy)
  • Monitor ink levels, materials, and printer performance
  • Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment
    • Installation
  • Install full and partial bus wraps ; mobility van wraps 
  • Install bench and shelter vinyl advertisements
  • Apply interior and exterior advertising panels and decals
  • Ensure smooth, bubble-free, professional installations
  • Remove and replace expired advertising materials
    • Quality Control
  • Inspect graphics for alignment, finish quality, and brand accuracy
  • Ensure installations meet safety and transit operational standards
  • Maintain clean, organized workspace and installation tools
    • Logistics & Coordination
  • Work closely with the SporTran Director of Marketing on scheduling installations
  • Coordinate with maintenance department for vehicle access
  • Maintain inventory of vinyl, laminates, tools, and hardware
    •  REQUIREMENTS
    Experience:
  • 1–3 years’ experience in vinyl installation or large-format printing preferred
  • Experience wrapping vehicles (preferred but not required)
  • Experience with graphic production equipment is a plus
    • Technical Skills:
    Knowledge of vinyl materials and application techniques
  • Ability to measure, trim, and align graphics precisely
  • Familiarity with large format printers (Roland, HP Latex, Epson, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or print file preparation preferred
    • Physical Requirements:
    Ability to lift to 50lbs
  • Comfortable working on ladders or elevated surfaces
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures

    • IMPORTANT INFORMATIONAll positions are Safety Sensitive and require pre-employment drug testing; background checks; clean driving records and applicants must be able to work flexible shifts.  Require that applicants have no more than two (2) moving violations in the past five years and no convictions of a serious traffic violation (i.e., DWI, driving with a suspended, canceled or revoked license) in the past five years.
