Job Description

Arlington Residence and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Transportation, Medical Records and Central Supply. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment and have/be CNA. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and delivering exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

Transportation: Take residents to and from scheduled appointments as necessary.

Medical Records Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance and confidentiality of resident medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Ensure that all medical records are accurately documented, filed, and updated as needed.
  • Coordinate the transfer of medical records between healthcare providers and ensure timely access to relevant information for staff and residents.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper documentation of resident care and treatment plans.
  • Other duties as assigned

Central Supply Operations:

  • Manage inventory levels of medical supplies, equipment, and other essential items to meet the needs of the facility.
  • Coordinate the procurement of supplies through effective vendor management and cost-conscious practices.
  • Monitor expiration dates and quality of supplies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with department heads to assess supply needs and optimize inventory levels.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must have valid and active CNA
  • Must have valid Drivers License and Clean Driving History
  • Previous experience in staffing coordination, medical records management, or supply management within a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, residents, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software applications used for scheduling, record-keeping, and inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
