Transportation Finance Sales RepresentativeLocation: Southern California (Castaic to San Diego)Compensation: $125, 000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission PlanPosition OverviewA leading independent transportation finance company is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to develop and grow equipment finance business throughout Southern California. This role focuses on originating transactions through both end-user and dealer relationships, with a primary emphasis on vocational trucks, trailers, and transportation-related equipment.This is an opportunity to join a high-volume platform with strong funding capabilities, flexible structuring, and an established presence in the transportation finance market.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with transportation companies, fleet operators, and equipment dealers throughout Southern California.
- Originate financing transactions for new and used trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
- Generate business through direct sales efforts and dealer partnerships.
- Structure financing solutions that meet customer needs while achieving profitability objectives.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with credit and operations teams to facilitate approvals and funding.
- Experience in equipment finance, transportation finance, leasing, commercial lending, or truck dealership finance.
- Strong business development and relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of vocational trucking, transportation, fleet, or trailer markets preferred.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a large geographic territory.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on customer relationships and sales growth.
