Responsibilities:- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the mechanical soundness of the vehicle and the safety of cargo.- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any unforeseen circumstances.- Maintain accurate records of hours worked, miles driven, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.- Uphold company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, customer service, and vehicle maintenance.Requirements:- High School degree or equivalent preferred.- Must have 2 years of prior truck / commercial driving experience.- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Class A, Hazmat).- Clean driving record and a commitment to safety on and off the road.- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while also being a team player.- Physical stamina and endurance to handle long hours of driving and occasional heavy lifting.- Willingness to embrace technology and adapt to new tools and systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.Job Type: Full- TimePay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour DOEPlease note: This position is not overtime eligible as we follow federal DOT rules.Benefits:- Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits (basic medical plan, 100% covered by the company for the employee only)- FSA/HSA- 7 Paid Holidays- Paid Time Off and Sick Leave- 401(k) Retirement Plan plus Company Match, after 1 year of employment- Basic Company sponsored Life Insurance- Employee Assistant Program- Access to state-of-the-art equipment and technology to support your success on the road.- Additional Voluntary ProgramsYandell Companies provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
