Unit Information: CT Tech / (726)Location: Wesley Medical CenterAddress: 550 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67214Floor: 1stBuilding: Main EntranceGeneral InformationTell us about the unit(s):750 Bed Hospital, Trauma Level 1 and Primary Stroke center.Staffing is 24/7 with lead tech plus three techs on dayshift; a split shift 9a-9p and one night shift tech 7p-7a (strive for two but staffing constraints prevent).Type of equipment

Client scanners x 4; 64 slice and above, PACS and FUJI SynapseEMR MeditechTypical hiring profileSkill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.Minimum 6 months of current acute care CT Tech experienceARRT (R) & BLSActive KS licensurePreferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.Client scanner experiencePrior Meditech experienceList typical procedures performed on unit(s):CTA chest, neck, abdomenCTA Cardiac studies (Structural Heart program in place)CT Head Stroke protocolBest personality Fit:Works well with other departmentsDependable / promptUnit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.Dress code
Black scrubs (not provided)Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment:We are a large facility with a busy CT department averaging around 130 CT scans per day. Busy trauma center and stroke center. Team works well together.
