TRAVEL - RN - OR Overland Park, KS 13 weeks Shift- 7am- 7pm Hospital: Location: Overland Park Regional Medical Center Address: 10500 Quivira Rd, Overland Park, KS 66215 Unit Name: Operating Room Building: Main Hospital Cost Center: 70122 General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 343 Patient Ratios : 1:1 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Type of equipment : surgical Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: set schedules Floating policy: do not float (except related to COVID, rarely if ever) Patient Experience requirements: n/a Hospital Specifics- Designated Trauma Center State of the Art Pediatric ER Certifications: o Gold Seal of Approval from JCAHO o American College of Surgeons Verified Trauma Center o Advanced Certification in Stroke (Primary Stroke Center) 2017 Get With The Guidelines Stroke- Gold Plus Honor Roll Elite American Heart Association/American Stroke Association s Heart-Check mark for Advanced Certification for Primary Stroke Centers o Full accreditation in Chest Pain care, treatment and services 2017 Mission: Lifeline- Gold Receiving (quality care for STEMI patients) o Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement o Blue Distinction Center for Maternity Care o CAP Laboratory Accreditation o Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Program o Kansas Medical Society Continuing Medical Education Accreditation o National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) o Sleep Medicine Accreditation o The Commission on Cancer Accreditation o The Joint Commission National Quality Approval Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: surgical/procedural experience preferred, not required Must have: n/a Advanced skills needed: n/a Procedures performed on unit: Abdominal, including complex hernia Breast Cardiovascular Colon/Rectal Dental Ear, Nose, and Throat Gastroenterology General surgery Gynecological Joint replacement and partial replacement – knee and hip Maternal-Fetal Neurosurgery Ophthalmology Oral/Maxillofacial Orthopedic/Sports Medicine/Robotics Pediatrics Plastic and Reconstructive Robotics Spine Thoracic Trauma Urological Vascular Certifications Required: n/a Dress Code: (Required uniform) Hospital laundered scrubs provided by department Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines. Johnson County s only Trauma Center, designated by the American College of Surgeons. This means we are equipped to treat life-threatening injuries 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
