TRAVEL - RN - Postpartum Facility: Wesley Medical Center 7A - 7P Address: 550 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67214

Number of Beds 29 plus 8 overflow
Number of Staff 50
Type of staff:
- Day Shift 1 charge, 1 Desk PCT, RN's based on census
- Night Shift 1 charge, 1 desk PCT, RN's based on census
Patient Ratios 3-4 couplets per RN - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed
Type of equipment Welch allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, POC Glucose monitoring
EMR Meditech / CPN

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Postpartum hospital experience
BLS & NRP

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

High risk post-partum experience
Level 2 Nursery experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

POC Glucose monitoring
Breastfeeding support
Post-partum hemorrhage management
Assist with circumcision
Hypertension assessment/management
