Join Our Team as a Travel RN - Operating Room/Surgery - Days and Make a Difference in Patient Care!Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse seeking an exciting travel opportunity in a dynamic surgical environment? We are looking for a skilled OR/Surgery RN to provide top-quality patient care during daytime shifts. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced operating room setting, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and enhance your professional skills while exploring new locations.What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional perioperative care to patients of diverse ages and medical conditions.
- Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to sterile protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to emergencies.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to deliver seamless patient experiences.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and patient responses.
- Valid RN license (New Mexico or Compact state license).
- Certification in BLS and ACLS via AHA.
- Proven experience in operating room or surgical environments.
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and perioperative protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to handle emergency situations with confidence.
- Additional certifications such as CCRN or CNOR.
- Experience with patient populations across different age groups.
- Prior travel or cross-site hospital experience.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 1-2 years of OR/Surgical nursing experience.
- Prior travel nursing experience is advantageous.
- Must be available for 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM shifts.
- On-call and weekend work is required.
- Willingness to float between multiple surgical locations as needed.
- Travel reimbursements and certifications covered.
