• Valid CLS (NCA), MT (ASCP), or equivalent certification as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
• Meets CLIA 88 requirements for performing high-complexity testing as defined in the Federal Register, Vol. 57; #40, Subpart 493.1489.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment operation.
• Effective communication skills; proficient in reading and writing English.
• Ability to analyze specimens accurately and review results in compliance with laboratory policies.
• Preferably, one year of general laboratory experience.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and locations, including weekends.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in multiple laboratory settings or different specimen types.
• Knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS).
• Additional certifications or training in specialized testing areas.
• Ability to adapt to new environments quickly and efficiently.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field.
• At least one year of professional laboratory experience preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Travel opportunity with flexible locations; candidates may need to adjust schedules accordingly.
• Ability to work the DAY shift from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.
• Must be equipped to perform routine exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials while following safety protocols.
• Willingness to adhere to all infection control and safety regulations.
• Compensation starts at $42.90/hour, with reimbursable travel, licensure, certification, and related expenses.
