• Valid RN license in the state of New Mexico or a current Compact state license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS certification from AHA.
• TNCC certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in critical care nursing.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills tailored to patient developmental levels.
• Ability to handle emergency and high-pressure situations effectively.
• Proficient in patient safety standards and infection control protocols.
• Flexibility to float across various units and locations as needed.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Experience with advanced monitoring and life-support equipment.
• Bilingual abilities.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Additional certifications such as PALS or CCRN.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care nursing experience.
• Prior experience working in emergency, ICU, or trauma units is advantageous.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM).
• Must be prepared for occasional travel and floating between facilities.
• Compliance with all hospital and state-specific health and safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license if transportation between facilities is required.
