Job Description

Join Our Team as a Travel RN - Emergency Room (Nights) and Make a Difference in Critical Care EnvironmentsElevate your nursing career by stepping into a pivotal role as a Travel RN in the Emergency Room during night shifts. This demanding yet rewarding position offers an exceptional opportunity to deliver vital care to patients in need while exploring new locations and expanding your professional horizons. Be part of a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to excellence and patient safety, all while enjoying the flexibility and benefits of travel assignments.Required Skills:
  • Valid New Mexico RN license or current Compact State License
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA
  • TNCC or ATCN certification
  • CPI or equivalent preferred
  • Proven experience in emergency and trauma nursing
  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities
  • Ability to handle fast-paced, high-pressure situations effectively
  • Physical stamina to handle patient positioning, transfers, and prolonged standing
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working in Level I or II trauma centers
  • Previous travel or agency nursing experience
  • Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication
  • Additional certifications such as ENPC or certifications in specialized care areas
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
  • Minimum of 2 years’ ER nursing experience in a hospital setting
  • Prior travel nursing experience highly desirable
Other Requirements:
  • Availability to start as soon as possible
  • Ability to work 7 PM – 7 AM night shifts
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments
  • Must adhere to all hospital and OSHA safety protocols
  • Compensation: $54.94 per hour
  • Travel, licensure, certification, and related reimbursements provided when applicable
