• Valid CLS (NCA), MT (ASCP), or equivalent certification/licensure as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
• Meet CLIA 88 requirements for high complexity testing as outlined in the Federal Register, Vol. 57; #40, Subpart 493.1489.
• Minimum of one year of general laboratory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in operation of laboratory equipment and specimen analysis.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and accurately follow established procedures.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in microbiology or infectious disease testing.
• Knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
• Prior travel laboratory experience or flexibility to adjust schedules and locations based on operational needs.
• Additional certifications or specialized training in microbiology or infectious disease diagnostics.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology, or related field.
• At least one year of relevant laboratory experience, with a focus on microbiology preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Travel flexibility, with accommodation for varying locations and potential schedule adjustments.
• Weekend work required, including Saturdays.
• Compliance with OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards; appropriate PPE utilization.
• Physical ability to perform duties requiring standing, sitting, moving bulky supplies, and working extended hours if necessary.
• Compensation at $46.80 per hour.
