Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in resident condition.
- Provide compassionate person-centred care, responding promptly to call lights and resident needs.
- Maintain a safe and clean care environment in accordance with facility infection-control protocols.
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to support care plan goals.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered CNA certification - required.
- Active NM Caregivers Registry account required - must have account prior to placement.
- Minimum 6 months of nursing home or long-term care experience preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
