Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Location: Middletown, Rhode Island• Setting: Skilled Nursing / Rehabilitation• Employment Type: Travel Contract• Experience Level: Experienced CNA Preferred

Guaranteed Hours

38 hours per week Estimated Pay Rate: $23.22 $27.09 per hour

• Shift: Evening Shift• Shift Time: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM• Number of Shifts: 3 shifts weekly• Contract Length: 11 Weeks• Start Date: 05/11/2026• End Date: 07/20/2026• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an 11-week travel assignment in Middletown, Rhode Island. The CNA will provide direct patient care and support residents within a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment while ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and safety.

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with nursing staff to assist with daily patient care activities, monitor resident conditions, and help maintain a positive and supportive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff• Record vital signs and document patient care activities accurately• Support patient mobility, transfers, and positioning safely• Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment• Provide compassionate emotional support to residents and families• Collaborate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams• Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols

Requirements

• Active CNA certification/license• Current BLS certification preferred• Minimum of one year of CNA experience preferred• Ability to work evening shifts and every other weekend• Strong communication and teamwork skills• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
