Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Location: Elkins, WV Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility Employment Type: Contract Experience Level: Entry-Level Guaranteed Hours 24 hours per week Pay Rate: $18.09 $21.10 per hour Shifts 07:00 AM 07:00 PM 2 4 Shifts per Week (Rotating Schedule) Job Overview We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care within a skilled nursing facility. This role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, supporting nursing staff, monitoring resident well-being, and helping maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
The CNA will work closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff Record vital signs and document care provided Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment Support infection prevention and patient safety practices Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PointClickCare systems Requirements Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in West Virginia State-issued identification required
