Job OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential hands-on care to residents in a long-term care setting. The CNA will support patients with activities of daily living while ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Support mobility and safe transfers of residents
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Follow care plans as directed by nursing staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Adhere to infection control and facility safety protocols
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-specific)
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
- Current CPR certification preferred (if required by facility)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work evening shift (02:30 PM 10:45 PM)
- Prior long-term care experience preferred
