OverviewPosition: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Travel assignmentSpecialty: Certified Occupational Therapy AssistantLocation: Bowie, Maryland, United StatesStart date: 05/11/2026 | Duration: 13 weeksWeekly pay: $1,249–$1,338 per week | Guaranteed hours: 35 per weekShift: 08:00–16:30 (8.5-hour day)Setting: Skilled Nursing FacilityKey Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,249–$1,338 per week- Guaranteed hours: 35 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 08:00–16:30- Start date: 05/11/2026- Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility, travel assignmentResponsibilities- Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed OT for residents in the SNF setting.- Implement and adjust treatment plans, including therapeutic activities, ADL training, and functional tasks to support patient goals.- Document patient progress, outcomes, and any changes in status in required medical records and communicate with the supervising OT and care team.- Monitor patient safety, safety precautions, and infection control, ensuring proper body mechanics and device use as indicated.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize rehabilitation outcomes and ensure consistency of care across shifts.Requirements- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to practice as a COTA in the state (as applicable).- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program or otherwise credentialed per state requirements.- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment and follow established care plans.- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 05/11/2026 and the listed shift.- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.Benefits and Support- Guaranteed hours: 35 per week- Weekly pay: $1,249–$1,338 per week- Travel assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC- Start date aligned with the 13-week assignmentFind more opportunitiesIf this role isn’t a perfect fit, explore other COTA openings and travel assignments available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMER RULE:Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
