Job Description

OverviewCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant travel assignment in Monterey, California. Start date 04/27/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 38 hours per week on days. Weekly pay range $1,257 to $1,308 per week in a skilled nursing facility setting.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,257–$1,308 per week- Guaranteed hours: 38 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: Days- Start date: 04/27/2026- Facility/work setting: Skilled Nursing FacilityResponsibilities- Provide skilled occupational therapy services to residents under the OT plan of care, with emphasis on activities of daily living, fine motor skills, and cognitive tasks.- Implement treatment plans approved by the supervising OT; adapt activities to residents’ goals and rehab needs.- Document resident progress and outcomes in Rehab Optima (NetHealth) or similar electronic health record systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.- Conduct or contribute to initial assessments, progress notes, and periodic re-evaluations as directed; adjust interventions accordingly.- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (OT, PT, nursing, social work) to support overall resident function and safety.- Maintain safety of residents and equipment; adhere to facility policies and regulatory requirements.Requirements- Active California license as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)- SNF (skilled nursing facility) experience- Knowledge of Rehab Optima (NetHealth) computer system- Ability to work the Day shift in a travel assignment- Eligibility to practice in the listed setting and to perform essential duties of the roleBenefits and Support- Assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC throughout the travel period- 24/7 recruiter and travel support to assist with onboarding and adjustments- Credentialing and onboarding assistance to facilitate a smooth start- Ongoing compliance and documentation support to help maintain assignment requirementsFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore additional openings, visit Healthforce Healthcare LLC at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply to view other opportunities and apply.PAY DISCLAIMER RULE:Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
